AeroHeritage - DC3 type rating
AeroHeritage is lucky enough to have one of the only 2 current DC3 instructors in the country. We can offer a full DC3 type rating course based at Coventry. The course consists of 4 days groundschool, followed by the ground exams on day 5. From there on, systems and procedures training is carried out in a combination of the classroom and the aircraft, and then we can take to the skies to start the flight training. This will be a minimum of 6 hours flying, dependant on your previous experience.
- The entry requirements for the course are:
- Current MEP
- Tailwheel trained
- PPL HPA test, or ATPL ground exams
- Current IR
