Dakota test flight

AeroHeritage pilots Ben Cox and Jon Corley were the crew today for a post maintenance test flight on Air Atlantique Classic Flight's Douglas DC3 Dakota G-AMRA. The aircraft had recently had a new Pratt & Whitney R1830 radial engine fitted, and the engineers had made some adjustments to ensure all of the required power settings could be met.

All of the parameters required for the flight test were met, and the new engine behaved well throughout the flight. Hopefully both engines will prove to behave for many more hours to come.
